I was elected a District Councillor in October 2013, after I had retired from the police service after thirty years. I was re-elected in May 2015 as a District Councillor and also elected as a Parish Councillor for Brewood. I have been married to Mark Sutton, who is the County Councillor for the Brewood Division, for 38 years and we have one beautiful daughter and one cute little Bichon Frise dog called Lola. I love spending time with the family, renovating houses, walking, reading, going to the theatre, gardening and just relaxing. Currently as well as being a District and Parish Councillor, I work as a Futures Consultant. I also sit on both the Licensing and Regulatory Committee and the Wellbeing Select Committee for South Staffordshire Council, as well as the Corporate Parenting Panel for Staffordshire. I am also volunteer coordinator for Brewood Community Library.
