Our site aims to give residents access to their Parish Council, promote local businesses, and encourage visitors to this wonderful part of Staffordshire. We will also communicate what the Parish Council does for the community as well as provide progress on current projects or issues which have been raised.
We have many images and archives which we will add to the site over time. If you have any photographs or articles of interest which you would like us to include, please get in touch via our Contact Us page.
Who we are and what we do
We have 15 Parish Councillors representing all four villages in the Parish. Read about the individual Councillors and more about what the Parish Council does, under the Your Council menu heading.
Under the Finance section, we publish details of our Annual Governance and Accountability Return to let you know how our part of your Council Tax has been spent, this is known as the Precept. We will upload agendas for forthcoming meetings and approved minutes for all full council meetings held. Read Parish Council Powers and Duties.
Meetings will be held online for the foreseeable future due to Covid-19. Agendas will be published on Parish Council noticeboards as well as on this site. Under normal circumstances, meeting are held in the Parish Council Chamber at 7.00pm on the second and last Thursday of each month, with the exception of August and December when there is no meeting at the end of the month. Find out dates of future meetings and read previous minutes on the Meetings menu heading.
